Tobacco-Free Sports
You know how great you feel when you are active? Whether
you play team sports or you challenge yourself by dancing, running
or weight training, there’s nothing like the high you get from
pushing your body and having it respond.
Regardless of your sport or activity, tobacco
works against you. You’ll
cough more, you’ll wheeze and you’ll start to feel short
of breath. Try telling your friends you couldn’t keep up because
you were trying to catch your breath!

Tobacco takes away every health
benefit you’ve worked so hard to
achieve, and it exposes your friends, family members and other spectators
to the deadly effects of second-hand smoke. People who are tobacco free
can often push their bodies to the limit and still feel like they can
go further. They bounce back quickly from
sport-related injuries.
